6-ft long Python rescued from Wildlife Office

Padam Singh Rathore, Wild & Street Animal Rescuer has rescued a 6-ft long Python from the Wildlife Office, Rani Road.  The reptile sneaked into one of the rooms in the office.

As informed by Padam Singh, it was a 6 foot long ‘Indian Rock Python’ (Python Molurus) which was later freed in the forest area in presence of forest authorities.

“In the rainy season, reptiles including snakes can often be seen”, he added.  He urged Udaipurites not to harm the animals and inform Wild & Street Animal rescue on 982 959 7722 or 941 423 4826.

A Cobra from Vila Village and a Rat Snake from Devali was also rescued today by Padam Singh and his co-worker Deepak Salvi.
