An accountant (patwari) has been arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau for taking bribe of 2000 rupees.  A special unit of Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested Hari Prasad Choubisa for taking bribe for mutation of an agricultural land on Tuesday.

Additional SP Surendra Singh Bhati , ACB Special Unit, said that appellant Hemant Salvi filed a complaint against Hari Prasad Choubisa. Hemant said that Hari Prasad asked for a bribe of 2000 rupees for mutation of 1300 sqft. of agricultural land in Eklingpura.

The complaint against Hari Prasad was verified by ACB. Tuesday afternoon, Hari Prasad Choubisa asked Hemant Salvi to come to his office in Kaladwas with 2000 rupees. When the amount of bribe was handed over to Hari Prasad, ACB team entered the office and arrested him with the bribe amount.

ACB Inspector Dilip Singh Jhala said that after the arrest of Hari Prasad, the team went to conduct a search at his residence. As per the ACB officers, Hari Prasad was serving as accountant for the last 16 years in Girwa Tehsil. He was posted in Jagat under Kurabad region. Hari Prasad was given additional charge of Kaladwas Patwar Mandal. He was taking bribes in this Kaladwas area.
