Technology Business Incubation Centre and Girls hostel inaugurated in CTAE

State Higher Education Minister, Kiran Maheshwari, today inaugurated the Technology Business Incubation Centre (TBIC) and Girls hostel at College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE). Also present on the occasion were Udaipur (Rural) MLA Phool Singh Meena and Dr U.S. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT).

State Higher Education Minister, Kiran Maheshwari, today inaugurated the Technology Business Incubation Centre (TBIC) and Girls hostel at College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE). Also present on the occasion were Udaipur (Rural) MLA Phool Singh Meena and Dr U.S. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT).

Dr S.M. Mathur, Coordinator, TBIC said that centre has already initiated its work and there are currently 8 innovators who have already started work in the centre. These innovators are being provided technical support via the TBIC.

Dr Ravi Sharma, Land Record Officer, said that the girls college has been set up 75 rooms and will provide accommodation to 150 girls. This allows a total of 325 girls to be accommodated in CTAE.

Maheshwari congratulated the authorities for inaugurating the first TBIC centre of the state in CTAE. She expressed confidence that this would go a long way in supporting entrepreneurship and skill development in the region. Maheshwari also expressed happiness at the inauguration of the girls hostel and said that this would pave way for supporting more girls in achieving technical excellence.

Maheshwari congratulated the students who cleared the GATE exam and said that she expects these students to come up with innovative ideas and subsequently make India a centre for Innovation in the world.

Meena, in his address, congratulated the authorities on the development of new facilites. He encouraged students to set high goals and to strive earnestly twowards the same.

Dr Sharma informed that TBIC was developed under the technical education deparment, Rajasthan Government’s plan for developing innovators and entrepreneurs who could start their own business and play a part in development of the nation.
