Rs 122 Crore projects under the smart city project are set to be completed in Udaipur by June 2017. This information was given out by Principal Secretary, Local self government (LSG), Manjit Singh.
Out of Rs 122 Crores, Rs 106 Cr will be spent on public transport, Rs 1 Cr on smart water supply, Rs 4 Cr on smart parking, Rs 1.6 Cr on solar plant, Rs 1.25 Cr on control and command centre and Rs 6 Cr on heritage conservation.
While Rs 122 Cr will be spent in Udaipur before the second anniversary of Udaipur being announced a Smart City, work worth Rs 967 Cr will be under progress. Smart City CEO, Siddharth Sihag informed that 55 schemes costing Rs 1100 Cr are to be be implemented in the upcoming financial year.
