Distributing woolen sweaters to the needy kids of rural areas, a social campaign “Suhani Sardi” successful achieved its aim of providing 10,000 new sweaters to the school kids. The campaign has announced conclusion of its mission for this year.

Distributing woolen sweaters to the needy kids of rural areas, a social campaign “Suhani Sardi” successful achieved its aim of providing 10,000 new sweaters to the school kids. The campaign has announced conclusion of its mission for this year.

While addressing a press conference today, Praveen Ratlia, founding member of Suhani Sardi said, till now we have provided sweaters to 9,659 kids while the remaining 341 kids will get sweaters on 22 Feb in a closing ceremony at Government School, Hiran Magri sector 4.

MP Arjunlal Meena and Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari will be chief guests of the closing function of Suhani Sardi Campaign.

Ratlia said that Suhani Sardi is a campaign initiated by youth of Udaipur who decided to provide new sweaters to rural kids who during winter discontinue their school due to chilly weather and not having proper woolen clothes.

Started on 10th October 2015, Suhani Sardi spread across 160 schools and 9659 children of class 1st to class 5th.

While no donations were accepted from any source during the campaign, around 6500 used woolen clothes were also received and distributed in Suhani Sardi part-2 campaign.

Team of Suhani Sardi visited hundreds of schools; some are located in remote areas of Kotra, Jhadol, Chawand and even Kheroda, Sakroda, Bujda Kaya, Matun etc.

An official music CD will be released during the valedictory ceremony of the campaign, informed Ratliya.
