A career counseling seminar for the students of Class XI and Class XII was held at Srajan Academy on 30 December, 2012 followed by a prize distribution ceremony for the merit holders of the commerce talent hunt, CTH – 2012.
Manish Kapoor, Director of Srajan Academy held a detailed interactive session with the students regarding their future plans and study and career options.
He also discussed the important factors, which can help the students to select the right career depending upon their interest, skills, aptitude, etc.
The merit holders were felicitated with cash prizes and scholarship vouchers. In Class XII, Monil Mehta of St.Paul’s School secured the first position, Shubham Pandey of Central Academy stood second and Khushboo Laddha of MMPS stood third. In the CTH held for Class XI, Prerna Jain of St. Anthony’s School stood first while Anushree Jain of MMPS and and Mrinal Talesra of St. Mary’s took the second and third positions respectively.
Rank holders of both the classes were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 5000 and a 100% scholarship. The second position holders were given a cash prize of Rs. 3000 and a 75% scholarship followed by a cash prize of Rs. 2000 and 50 % scholarship for the third rank holders.
Apart from these 11 students at the fourth position were awarded a cash prize of Rs.1000 and a scholarship of 25%. A consolation prize of 20% scholarship was awarded to 34 students of class XI.
A scholarship voucher of Rs. 500 is being awarded to all the students who appeared for the Commerce Talent Hunt – 2012. Students have been asked to collect their gift vouchers from the office of Srajan Academy.
