24-year-old Woman dies mysteriously

An engineer from Udaipur along with his parents was accused of killing his wife by allegedly forcing her to take poison. Anita Trivedi, a 24-year-old house wife, resident of Dariba, Udaipur was admitted to M.B Hospital on Monday afternoon by her parents after lodging a F.I.R against her in-laws, including her husband with the Rail Magra Police Station, Udaipur for forcing her to consume poison.

An engineer from Udaipur along with his parents was accused of killing his wife by allegedly forcing her to take poison.

Anita Trivedi, a 24-year-old house wife, resident of Dariba, Udaipur was admitted to M.B Hospital on Monday afternoon by her parents after lodging a F.I.R against her in-laws, including her husband with the Rail Magra Police Station, Udaipur for forcing her to consume poison.

She was kept under observation and declared dead today morning at 9.30 am.

“Gaurav Trivedi, resident of Dariba Tehsil along with his parents, Bal Govind Trivedi, Gyarah Bai Terivedi and two of his uncles forced my daughter to consume poison as they are a greedy family and always torture Anita for bringing cash from her parents house and torture her for getting low dowry”, said Narendra Kumar Sharma, Anita’s Father.

According to Hemant Sharma, “my elder sister Anita messaged me yesterday on 27th February at 11.30 am in the morning, saying, ‘my in laws have given poison forcefully please come to my in-laws place as soon as possible.’ When we called the in laws of my sister they didn’t pick up the phone, then we rushed towards her their house.”

According to Hemant, no one was available at home and they got a call from Balgovind saying that they were at Chowdhary hospital and called them there.

“When we reached their we found Anita sitting alone in bench in the hospital”, said Hemant.

Hemant and his family later took her to M.B. Hospital, where she was declared dead.

An F.I.R has been lodged and the police has started investigation.
