ACB Arrests Female Surgeon for taking Rs.4000 Bribe

Dr. Anjali Seth, a Surgeon by profession and Assistant Professor at RNT Medical College was caught by the Anti Corruption Bureau for alleged bribery.

ACB has arrested Dr. Seth with a Rs.4,000 bribe, which she had allegedly demanded from a patient’s relative for conducting an operation. Dr. Anjali Seth was on government duty at MB Hospital as a contractual employee.

Dr. Anjali Seth, a Surgeon by profession and Assistant Professor at RNT Medical College was caught by the Anti Corruption Bureau for alleged bribery.

ACB has arrested Dr. Seth with a Rs.4,000 bribe, which she had allegedly demanded from a patient’s relative for conducting an operation. Dr. Anjali Seth was on government duty at MB Hospital as a contractual employee.

According to the ACB, Dr. Anjali conducted Surgery on a person, resident of Bekariya in May 2013. The patient had problems again and was in Udaipur from the last three days. As per the patient’s relative, they contacted Dr. Anjali for better treatment, but she demanded Rs.4,000.

After receiving the complaint, the team from the Anti Corruption Bureau trapped the doctor and raided her residence at Akshans Complex, University Road.

Dr. Anjali was arrested with the bribe amount. Coincidently, she was also due to join as a permanent employee at M.B. Hospital after serving on a contract basis.
