A female home guard has lodged a complaint of rape by platoon commander with Superintendent of Police, Kailash Bishnoi. The victim has alleged that the platoon commander has been raping her since 2013 under the pretext of giving her postings.

The victim has been working as a home guard since 1989. Her husband passed away in 2013. The victim alleged that, ever since her husband passed away, platoon commander Chhogalal Joshi started raping her under the pretext of putting her on duty. She alleged that Joshi would not give her regular duty and every 10-15 days would come to her house and rape her under the pretext of giving her duty.

The victim also alleged that Joshi took objectionable photographs of her and threatened her into continued physical relationship in exchange of not making the photographs public.

The victim continued to suffer for 6 years to keep the family income flowing. Now that her only daughter got married, the victim decided to open it up and reached the SP demanding legal intervention and in getting Joshi punished.
