 A man opened fire at police in 2013 in Fatehpura area and has now been arrested by Ambamata police.

As per reports, Rajveer Singh has been arrested for opening fire at police while the police constable was performing his night duty. His accomplices Jitendra and Shishupal were arrested long back. One of the culprits is still absconding.

Constable Jitendra was on night duty on 1st November 2013. He saw these 4 culprits in Fatehpura in Pajero car who were moving around with the purpose of committing theft in the area. They wanted to escape with a car parked in Fatehpura. 2 of the culprits got down from Pajero car. Constable Jitendra sensed that these people were trying to commit a theft and he shouted out to them. Hearing the constable’s voice, the 2 accused tried to run away but one of them was caught by the constable. All others in the car opened fire at the police constable attempting to release their friend. They all managed to escape. Now three criminals have been arrested by police and search is on for the 4th one.
