In a lucky break for Police, they managed to catch hold of a truck trying to smuggle 14 kg Opium for illegal drug trade. The incident happened near Bhatewar cross-road.

The truck carrying cement overturned near Bhatewar. Overturning of the truck exposed 14 kg Opium that was kept in between cement bags. Police was unaware of this smuggling and came to only accidentally.

Police team from Kheroda Police Station reached the spot and confiscated the truck. The driver and conductor of the truck managed to flee from the scene.
