Troubled by marriage issues, a 25 year old lady committed suicide yesterday by jumping into lake Pichola.

As per media reports, 25-year old Monika (w/o Mahendra Singh Rathore) was a resident of Karjali house, Ghantaghar. Yesterday evening she sent her husband to get milk. After her husband left, she sneaked out of the house without informing anyone. She reached the other side of Lake Pichola and jumped into the lake near hotel Ambrai. She died as a result of drowning.

Monika’s father, Shobhag Singh (s/o Gopal Singh Dewra) lodged a police complaint suspecting the reason of death. Shobhag Singh informed that his daughter was married 5 years ago and they had a four year old daughter.

Basis the report, Ambamata Police got the post mortem done in presence of medical board. Body was handed over to the relatives after the post mortem.
