Di Wale-ae-Dikri staged at Lok Kala Mandal

playOn the third day of  62nd Foundation Anniversary celebration of Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, artists from Ahmedabad’s Art Communication Charitable trust staged a play, Di Wale-ae-Dikri, that focused on some of the deep rooted social evils in our society.

The play, made with the financial help of Government of Gujarat and directed by Aarjav Trivedi, gave an important message of saving girl child and conveyed the importance of women in our society. It was a sincere attempt to generate a feeling and conscience of audience for a sensitive issue of gender equality.

The play was acted upon very well by all the artists. In the end, Director of The Performers, Anukampa Laike thanked all the artists, guests and audience.

Associate Director Shyam Mali informed that on the last day of celebration tomorrow, artists from Ahmedabad’s Akshar Cultural Foundation will enact ‘Pitra Dev Bhava’.
