Eco-Adventure Tour is now available on weekdays, too. All you need is a group. Eco-Adventure Tour organised by forest department on Saturdays and Sundays is now available on weekdays, too. All you need to do is make a group of 20 people and enjoy the adventure together. Forest department has made a provision that people wishing to go for adventure tour apart from Saturday and Sunday can have the fun of being amidst nature on any day if they have a group of 20 people. The department will provide a tailor-made tour for the group.
DFO Suhel Majboor said that a number of people wishing to go for the adventure tour are somehow not able to make it on weekends. They sincerely wish for weekdays and long for support from the forest department. They long for special arrangements so that they can make the most of the tour with their family and friends. With this view point, department has planned for special facilities for public and finalised special tours. The only condition is that there should be a group of minimum 20 people. The department can be contacted at Chetak Circle wild life division of forest department. Forest department will make all arrangements for the adventure tour.
Oncoming tour plan
For 6th August, adventure tour has been planned for Sitamata Sanctuary. Forest department’s tour operator Kantilal Puanmiya said that the first eco tour will head to Jakham Dam route. After visiting Jakham Dam, they will head to Sitamata sanctuary for trekking. Flying squirrels can be seen in this season in the sanctuary. Those wishing to join the tour may contact the forest department at the earliest. Sitamata wildlife sanctuary is situated in the southeast part of Pratapgarh district. This sanctuary has been declared as a protected forest area by the Government of Rajasthan.
