Making it one of the most successful job fair by Times of India in association with Maharaja Group of Colleges, more than 800 students participated in the recently concluded job fair held at the college campus.

Making it one of the most successful job fair by Times of India in association with Maharaja Group of Colleges, more than 800 students participated in the recently concluded job fair held at the college campus.

The job fair was organized from 13th to 14th April where nearly 127 students received offer letters from various national and multinational companies who came to recruit potential candidates.

The event was inaugurated by Nagendra Singh and Satish Sharma of Maharaja College by ribbon cutting and lighting of lamp.

Nagendra Singh, Director of Maharaja College of Engineering said, “It was the Second job fair by the college and after noticing the huge response, the College will run this event every year. Not only students but corporations also got the opportunity to discover fresh talent from Udaipur.”

According to Satish Sharma, Director of Maharaja College of Management, “Participating companies spanned across industries, including IT, Banking, Hospitality, Finance, Engineering, Insurance Sectors and many others.”

The fair was open from 10am to 5pm on both days. Job seekers looking forward to bright prospects found multiple quality options under one roof.

The job seekers had an opportunity to interact and prove their mettle with companies like: Ambuja Cement, Miraj, Royal Bank of Scotland, Home Shop 18, Vodafone, Car Dekho, Girnar Soft, Bhilwara IL & FS, Malaysia Plastic, Hinexus, Shriram Transport and Finance, Bharti AXA, PVR Cinemas, Nerolac Paints, SBI Life Insurance, P&G Company, Fusion, Arc Gate, PC Care, K.S. Automobile etc.

Over the years job fairs have proved successful for both employers and jobseekers attending to find employment, further education and training.
