Earth Science Olympiad Exam held in Udaipur

More than one hundred school students appeared in the International Earth Science Olympiad exam held at MLSU today. The exam was organized by Ministry of Earth Science, Government of India in association with Geological Society of India, Bangalore.

More than one hundred school students appeared in the International Earth Science Olympiad exam held at MLSU today. The exam was organized by Ministry of Earth Science, Government of India in association with Geological Society of India, Bangalore.

Professor Vinod Agarwal, President of Earth Science Department and Exam Coordinator informed that the exam was organized today in 69 centers of India in which 3500 students took part including 104 students from Udaipur.

The objective of this exam is to encourage students to learn about subjects related to Earth Science like Environment, Climate, Geological, Ocean etc.

25 selected students from all over India will get special training in May, and the four students out of 25 will get chance to represent India in International Earth Science Olympiad , Japan.
