Speaking to the attentive lot, Vineet questioned the thought process that leads technical stream students to vie for less lucrative careers such as SSC ,Bank Clerk, etc.  He elaborated on the leadership status of colleges that were part of the MPUAT, viz. Rajasthan College of Agriculture, College of Technology and Agriculture Engineering and College of Dairy and Food Science Technology.

Vineet, in his dialogue with students, reminded them that students from technical streams in RCA, CTAE, CDFST had over the years formed a substantial percentage of IIM selections as well as selections to prominent MBA institutes in India as well as abroad.  He explained that due to non-awareness of options for students in institutes in Udaipur, they are not able to define a career path and prepare accordingly.

Taking up a job, being the first vision of regular undergraduate students demands sharpening personalities and communication skills.  Being updated with current affairs and the latest in their study domain ensures that great offers come by in the shape of career defining jobs.  The second option pertains to pursuing further studies, which entails appearing for GATE in case of domestic institutes or GRE for international schools.  The third option would be consider a MBA program, where the BTech aptitude coupled with exemplary learning in top management colleges in India will assure a path to a fulfilling career.

Students listened attentively as they were taken through success stories of students.  One interesting story that caught the imagination of students was that of a CTAE graduate belonging to a remote village in Uttrakhand.  Despite a remote background and poor communication skills, he worked very hard to identify his strengths.  Being an attentive listener and sharp learner, and cracked the IIM selection.
