Udaipur’s GD Goenka International School has been selected in the Top 10 Green Schools in India.  A first for Udaipur and a first for Rajasthan.

Speak of Rajasthan and globally the image is that of barren land and sand dunes, with a tree here and there, for there to be a talk on greenery.  However, Udaipur stands out in this aspect.  The lake city, surrounded by the Aravali range, gives it the green touch, as compared to other parts of Rajasthan.

In a first for Rajasthan hence, a school from Udaipur has featured in the Top 10 Green Schools of India.  A meticulous effort by Anil Shah and Aditya Shah in nursing an institution they have aspired to build, has facilitated the Education World Grand Jury Award 2018 in the Green School category for the GD Goenka International School, Udaipur.
