With over 90% of the over 1500 guests expected to come in later today evening and in the morning hours tomorrow, the preparations for the biggest pre-wedding in town are underway.

Pre-Wedding celebrations for the high profile business couple begins tomorrow, 8 December, with a traditional Rajasthani Art and Culture Exhibition to be held on the lawns of Udaivilas. Fun games stalls for guests will be setup at the Trident Hotel followed by the Sangeet Ceremony at the Udaivilas pool side. A 35 feet statue of Srinathji has been setup at Udaivilas hotel for the Sandhya Maha Aarti.

Anil Agarwal, Chairman – Vedanta Group will be arriving tomorrow by Charter directly from London to attend the pre wedding festivities. He will be arriving around 5:30 PM.

Rajasthan Cultural Show on 9 December at the City Palace will be the grand finale of the hyped pre-wedding celebrations of the Ambani-Piramal families.  Preparations for the celebration are underway at City Palace, with a tide bit of inconvenience for the tourists during these three days.

With 600 guests expected to attend the event, the glitterati is expected to be amazing – with the who’s who of global business, politics, Bollywood and Hollywood.

Members of the two families, viz. Mukesh – Neeta Ambani, Anil-Tina Ambani, Kokila Ben, Anant Ambani, Isha Ambani and Deepti Salgaonkar; Anand Piramal, Ajay Piramal, Swati Piramal and Nandini Piramal are already in Udaipur.  Anil Ambani, Tina and Kokila Ben left for Nathdwara immediately after landing at Udaipur, for Srinathji darshan.

Celebrities from Bollywood and Hollywood, Politicians, high profile businessmen from both India and abroad will be arriving today evening and tomorrow morning.  The list includes Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Priyanka Chopra, who will perform for Isha Ambani as she shares a unique rapport with the bride; AR Rahman and Arijit Singh will also perform at the event.  Hollywood celebrity Tailor Swift is also expected to perform at the event. Amitabh Bachchan is expected to be there with his family.

Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray is already in town and Akshay Kumar is expected to be here today evening.  Karan Johar will be arriving to participate in the event as well.
