After undergoing several surgeries and operations over the last seven days, 24-year-old Jitesh Karesia is now recovering at Ahmedabad’s Shalby Hospital.
Jitesh, an employee at Advaiya Solutions Udaipur was severely injured after being hit by a fast moving truck at Madri on 20th June. His left leg was badly damaged and doctors in Udaipur feared the leg might need amputation.
However, Jitesh was rushed to Ahmedabad where he got admitted in Shalby Hospital. Doctors at Shalby decided not to amputate the leg and tried the option of grafting both skin and bone to recreate the damaged part.
According to Sandeep Koduri, friend and colleague of Jitesh, he is recovering well and we hope to see him back soon. Sandeep said that doctors are optimistic about Jitesh’s recovery, however the condition is still complex.
“If he gets any infection then the situation can deteriorate. However, as of now, no infection has been reported” said Sandeep.
“He is under close observation for both his bones and skin tissues” Sandeep added.
Besides receiving injuries in left leg, Jitesh had received multiple injuries, but none other was as severe.
Jitesh belongs to a middle class family from Jodhpur and is presently working in Udaipur based IT company Advaiya.
