Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) today released the 2017 rankings as per National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). IIM Udaipur was ranked 15th amongst the Management institutions in the country.
Prakash Javadekar, the Minister for Human Resource Development released the rankings today. IIM-Ahmedabad, IIM-Bangalore and IIM-Calcutta were rated as the top 3 management institutes in the country. IIM Udaipur was rated last year as the 5th best institute but this year its rank dropped to 15th.
Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru, Indian Institute of Technology Chennai and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay were rated as the top three Higher Education Institutes in the country.
IISc, Bangalore, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Delhi and Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Varanasi were rated as the top 3 universities in the country.
Miranda House Delhi, Loyola College, Chennai and Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) Delhi were ranked as the top 3 colleges in the country.
The institutes were marked on 20 parameters under the NIRF that was launched last year.The criteria used for ranking the institutions included teaching/learning resources, research, graduation outcomes (employability), outreach/ social and gender inclusivity and perception.
