Jain Community Rejoices Mass Wedding

25 Couples of the Jain community were tied into wedlock today in a glittering mass wedding that was organized at the BN College ground. Hundreds of people gathered to witness the 14th Samuhik Vivah organized by Shree Mahaveer Yuva Manch Sansthan and Samuhik Vivah Samaroh Samiti.

A grand pandal was installed at the venue for the wedding ceremony while the Baraat procession started from Fatah School at 9 in the morning.

Dressed in beautifully designed attire, Brides were taken to the ground on horse driven carts, while the Grooms lead the procession on horses. Baraatis and guests were dancing in joy to make the whole event a mass collective festival.

The function also consisted of Alankaran Samaroh to honor some of the most prominent personalities of the community.
