Some books are to be tasted, some to be swallowed and some are to be chewed and digested’, said Francis Bacon. Since time memorial books have been the best companion of human beings. Depicting the theme that books are the best – friends of human beings and highlighting the harmful effects of internet mobile phone and virtual world Seedling Modern Public School and Seedling, The World School conducted its 17th  Annual Function on 30th Nov and 1st Dec in two parts as Show ‘A’ and Show ‘B’ respectively with the theme Once upon a time.

The chief guest of Show ‘A’ was J.P. Sharma, Vice Chancellor,. MLSU and the Guest of Honour was Sushila Nagori DEO Elementary Udaipur. Chief Guest of the Show ‘B’ was J.P. Agarwal, Chairperson GMCH and Guest of Honour was Naresh Dangi, District Education Officer (Secondary Head Quarters), Udaipur. In totality 1000 students participated in the show.

The programme commenced with lighting of the lamp and invocation of lord Ganesha. The annual report of the school was presented and meritorious students in academics sports, co-curricular activities were felicitated by the dignitaries and scholarships were awarded to students who have excelled in academics.

The show began with a dance performance by senior Seedlites on the song ‘Shiva’ followed by Brazil, Irish, I see lone, We are pirates, Ball room etc

The stage came alive with huge number of students performing with vigour. Special sound and light effect, dazzling costumes added magic to the show and left the audience fascinated. The Chief Guests and the Guest of Honour appreciated the  students, the staff and the management for their team work and intense effort for coming up with such a show.
