Udaipur is a beautiful city in the Indian State of Rajasthan. I like this paradise because it is the land of Maharana Pratap who fought many wars to save the honour of Mewar, its people and tradition.

Apart from its heritage status, I like this city for its picturesque beauty with splendid Lake Pichhola lapping against shimmering white buildings and the stunning Aravali hills closing in to savor the view.

The master piece of the city is the floating lake palace which I admire the most. It seems to me that gorgeous lakes, beautiful lush green gardens, inspiring palaces, forts, old Mansions and havelies of Udaipur are straight out of a fairy tale book. [Read more...]

Traffic and Road Safety in the City

By Palak Pokharna

Traffic is increasing day by day in our city. The number of vehicles are also increasing.

People also don’t follow the traffic rules. Very less people take care of the traffic signals.

When there is red light, many people don’t stop and so, accidents occur every minute at one or the other place. We can even die or suffer from major injuries due to these accidents.

Because of the increasing number of vehicles the pollution is also increasing day by day. When two family members go at one place, then too, they use different vehicles, instead of going in one vehicle .This increases both traffic and pollution.

At the railway crossing, when the train arrives, the gates are closed. People on both the sides are always seen in hurry and instead of using one side, people stand on right side and others on left side, that blocks the whole way by covering the whole road and even after the train goes, they are unable to pass.

There is no safety on the roads because we don’t follow the traffic rules. We must first follow the traffic rules and advice to others also.

School Assembly

assembly4

We have many assemblies in our school.

They all give us knowledge.

They are based on moral values like Friendship, Politeness, charity etc.

First we all say the prayer, after the prayer the assembly starts with a poem.

Then there is a talk and a thought for the day, after that there is a beautiful and nice enactment.

We all enjoy the enactment.

Then the GK questions are asked. They also give us knowledge.

After that a teacher asks all the children the moral of the story.

We all enjoy the assemblies as they are very informative and entertaining.

My Trip to Germany

germany-pic2

My trip to Germany began at Delhi airport.

We checked in, filled the immigration form & boarded the flight. While in the plane some were watching T.V. & some were sleeping.

As the plane landed, we all clapped. We reached the airport and met Mr. Frank & Ms. Christine, the principals of Theodore Ruess Realschiile, who had come to fetch us.

We travelled by trains for a long time and finally reached our destination at night. My partner was Tobias Horak.

We went to his house, greeted each other and then went for rest. Next morning we got up and went to their school.

Everyday we did fun activities, visited different places, and learnt cooking. I made jam which was horrible.

The thing we did the most was shopping. There was a particular place for shopping so    whenever we went there we met our group members.

I loved their cuisine, cleanliness, hospitality. Do not miss this trip, whenever next arranged as a part of cultural programme.

Essay on Aeroplanes

By Irfan Ajmeri

Airplanes are flying machines that soar through the sky, they are powered by turbine engines. There are lot of different airlines and planes.

Airplanes have a cockpit with seats for the pilots and huge wings with flaps that help with the take-off and landing. Now this is where the engines come into action.

The Airplanes have engines depending on the size. So like a small plane might have small engines and a big plane has big engines. However all engines do the same thing. The engines absorb the wind and the wind pushes the plane like a mop pushing the dust.

Airplanes have companies called airlines. There are 26 airlines and over 600 destinations. Some of the airlines are Jet Blue, American Airlines, Air India and Delta. Also there are 4 models of an airplane. Those models are the 747, 787, 767 and the 777. The 777 and 767 has one floor and the 747 and 787 has 2 floors.

So now u know about Airplanes. So why don’t we learn about airports and runaways.

Hope you enjoyed!!

mauli-pic2

In these summer holidays I had lot of fun. My holidays were started on 7th of May. At very first, I joined skating classes at Gulab Bagh for two-months. I also joined summer camp at Max Pro education.

At MaxPro I learned so many things like drawing, painting, to make toys and hut, clay modeling and many memory games.
