Rockwoods High School marked its Annual Day with a magnificent cultural evening yesterday on 27th April. The various events were presented by students of class Nursery to Ninth grade. The program was dedicated to women who contributed in the social, cultural and economical development of India.

Colonel I.S Sahdeva, Commanding Officer NCC attended the event as the Chief Guest. Alka Sharma, founder and Director of the school, alongwith Deepak Sharma, Managing Director of the school, Geeta Nair, Principal, teachers and parents of the students were also present.

The principal informed that the program was to honor all great women of India, right from Rani Padmani to Indira Gandhi. [Read more...]

DPS Hosts Orientation Program for Parents; Introduces Day Boarding

dpsAn orientation Program was organized for the parents at Delhi Public School Udaipur to make them aware about the Day Boarding facilities available at the school.

Neeru Tandon, principal of the school welcomed all the parents and explained to them the concept of Day Boarding and also introduced them to the new Headmistress, Animika Roy.

The Headmistress threw light on the Day Boarding Programme and motivated parents to join this facility for the overall development of the students.

Day Boarding In-charge, Pramila Behl gave a detailed outline of the activities conducted for the students in the Day Boarding including nutritious food, and other activities like music, games and sports etc. in addition to studies.

The parents were given a feedback form to give their valuable suggestions regarding this programme.

Seedling conducts weeklong programs on Earth Day

Seedling School, Udaipur has organized various programs over the last week to mark World Earth Day which was on 22nd April 2013. Various events including tree plantation, salad making, decoration and street play, etc were conducted by students.

The program concluded on 27th April. According to the school administration, weeklong Earth Day events were dedicated to save the environment from all manmade pollution which is causing great destruction to the natural habitat.

Salad Making event exhibited the importance of vegetation and balanced diet for human beings.

On 27th April, students of Seedling presented a wonderful play at Celebration Mall, the play spread the message of save trees to protect birds and animals and to keep the environment balanced.

Central Academy School’s Silver Jubilee Fiesta

The Ambamata branch of Central Academy School Udaipur, celebrated its Silver Jubilee Function ‘Rajat Abhiranjan’ on 26th April 2013.

The school has completed its journey of 25 years successfully and in order to commemorate the achievement, this special function was planned out. The school chose a unique theme ‘Best out of waste’ for the decoration of the stage and the venue for the whole programme. [Read more...]

St Anthony’s Students selected for ‘Tax Your Brain Quiz 2013′

st-anthonyAkash Jain and Sahil Ahmed, both students of St. Anthony’s School, have been selected for the final round of Tax Your Brain Quiz, organized in the joint association of Quiz Craft and NDTV. The team of these two students grabbed first position in recently held city editions round at Alok School.

Sixty Two teams from ten schools participated in this competition. Interestingly, the team of Nilendra Tripathi and Kaushik Jain, who achieved second place in the competition, are also from St Antony’s.

According to Vikas Sahu, spokesperson of Anthony’s, the winning team will go to Delhi for final quiz. They will also get a cash prize of Rs.10,000.

32 city winners will participate in the final quiz and fight for the first prize of whopping Rs.5 Lac.

William D’Souza, Principal of school, congratulated the winning team and encouraged them to continue the good performance.

Seedling conducts Healthy Teeth Camp

For the overall development of kids, Seedling Modern Public School conducted a camp in which Dr. Richa Bansal taught students the ways to keep the teeth and gums healthy.

Students from class III to V attended the program and learned about various problems that can occur in the mouth due to unhealthy gums. [Read more...]

DPS Udaipur celebrates its 7th Foundation Day

VII Foundation Day of Delhi Public school, Udaipur was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at school premises today. The programme was based on the theme ‘Seven’ as it is the VII Foundation Day of the school. The Chief Guest of the event was Mani Agarwal.

The programme started with lighting of the lamp followed by a welcome speech by the principal, Neeru Tandon. The vibrant steps of the prayer dance to please Lord Shiva attracted a big round of applause from the spectators. [Read more...]

Special Activities on Earth Day and Mahaveer Jayanti at DPS

A special assembly was conducted today at DPS Udaipur on the occasion of Earth Day and a visit to Jain Temple was organized on the occasion of Mahaveer Jayanti.

The students of classes 5th and pre-primary presented a skit giving a message to make our earth beautiful and pollution free. A melodious song with dance was also presented with the same message ‘Save our Planet-Its Ailing’. [Read more...]

DPS celebrates Ram Navami & World Heritage Day

Ram Navami and World Heritage Day were celebrated at Delhi Public School Udaipur premises on 18th April 2013. A number of activities were conducted on this occasion including visits to Badi Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Veer Vinod Library, Sajjan Vani Vilas Library and Ahar Museum.

The objective behind the visits was to inform the students about the need to conserve these historical monuments. The students of class VIII visited Badi Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Veer Vinod Library and also Sajjan Vani Vilas Library which was established in the year 1931 by Maharana Sajjan Singh for the collection of great epics at the City Palace, Udaipur.  In this series, the students of Class I went to see the Ahar Museum. St. Paul’s Marks Diamond Jubilee: Holds 4 Day Seminar

On the esteemed occasion of completion of 60 years of service in the field of education, St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School celebrated its diamond jubilee with a 4-day seminar on “Quality Education and Children’s Development”.

The seminar was inaugurated on 16th April by school Principal Fr. George V.J. In his address to the students and parents he informed about the objective of seminar and role of both school and parents in building the personality of a child.
