Starting from today, Secure Meters Pvt Ltd is organizing a 7-day science exhibition ‘Khoj’ at St. Anthony’s School with a motive to generate interest in the students towards science by showing the practical implementations of various scientific methods and by showcasing limitless possibilities in the field.

Classical Indian Music Comes to The Study

Students and teachers at The Study were treated today with an amazing performance by flautist sisters Debapriya and Suchismita Chatterjee, accompanied by the great tabla player Shailendra Mishra.

The performance was a part of SPIC MACAY (Society of the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) initiated to promote Indian culture and to introduce the rich and heterogeneous cultural tapestry to the youth of this country through focus on classical arts. [Read more...]

Water fun for kids at DPS Udaipur

Kids, along with their mothers, were invited to the Pool Party at the school today. The invitation was joyfully accepted and kids-and-moms created a jolly sight at the pool.

Extra broad smiles adorned the faces of the moms and their little darlings when they splashed into the water and played to their hearts content.

Special Assembly on Ambedkar Jayanti & Gangaur at DPS

Ambedkar Jayanti and Gangaur were celebrated at DPS, Udaipur premises today in the form of a special assembly conducted by students of class X A.

The assembly started with a prayer followed by an inspirational thought and current updates around the world.

The speech by Yashna and Anshul informed the gathering about the contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in making the constitution of our country. A small skit beautifully brought forth the humiliation faced by Dr. Ambedkar in his childhood days as an untouchable but how he made this a weapon and devoted himself to studies to fight the injustice. Seedling Students run a 4 km long Marathon

On the occasion of World Health Day, students from Seedling Modern Public School studying in classes 7 to 10 ran a 4 km long marathon along the banks of Lake Fateh Sagar, under the school event ‘Run for Health’, to spread a message of healthy lifestyle.

Holding many banners promoting diet, daily exercises and stating no to tobacco, cigarettes, liquor etc substances that harm the body, students displayed a mature thinking.

Junior kids ran in the school campus with the same spirit.

DPS Celebrates “World Health Day”

World Health Day was celebrated at Delhi Public School today to generate awareness in the kids about the importance of healthy living. Various activities were conducted in the primary section of the school to observe this day.

All the students in the primary section were asked to bring healthy Tiffin with fruit juice. The students of class-1 had an aerobic session; they also saw a movie, Health is Wealth.

The students of class-2 were taken to ground for PT while class-3 students decorated plates with healthy food items. A group discussion on ‘Balanced Diet’ was organized for class 5th in which the students participated enthusiastically.

The class IV students learnt Suryanamaskar under the guidance of Yoga expert Dr Ajay Dandotiya. All the students enjoyed the activities organized for them and promised to follow a healthy life style.

St. Paul’s students leave for a Social Service Camp

180 Students of St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School went for a four-day annual social service camp organized at Ogna Village, Jhadol.

Students will stay at Ogana’s Ansuta Bhawan School and will help in building roads in that area.

During their stay, they will also meet the villagers and learn about their daily tasks lives. They will also spread awareness against the social evils through various cultural programs.

School Head, Father George V. J. informed that, to spread the message of girl empowerment, school students will also stage a play ‘Jeene Ki Lalak’. He said that a group of 15 teachers will guide the students in their endeavor.

MDS students achieve all India positions in KVPY

9 students of MDS Senior Secondary School have successfully cleared Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY), a Government of India scheme conducted by Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore to promote the budding scientists among the young generation.

The successful students are- Kushal Babel (AIR-8), Kriti Joshi (AIR-111), Sakshi Babel (AIR-212), Mrinal Tank (AIR-268), Hardik Seth (AIR-559), Sujay Gupta (AIR-605) and Ankur Agrawal (AIR-716). They will be awarded educational scholarship by the government.

Siddharth Agrawal and Kavish Bhatija achieved 66th and 138th rank respectively in the Mentorship Program. [Read more...]
