DPS students achieve success in National Olympiads

Ishan Kavdia and Ishita Kavdia of class V, DPS School have brought laurels to school and the city by securing 4th and 3rd rank respectively at the state level in the second level of 12th National Cyber Olympiad organized by Science Olympiad Foundation.

Besides NCO, Ishan has also scored 7th rank in the second level of International Maths Olympiad. In addition to this, Chitrang Murdia of class XI has secured AIR-57 in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna.

DPS Udaipur family congratulated the young achievers and wished them good luck.

In the 3rd International English Olmypiad which was conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation, Seedling School’s Akshat Mittal of Class IX secured First Position, Ahan Bakshi Of Class VIII, Farheen Ahmed of Class VII Secured 21st position and Kartikey Chaplot of Class IV secured 37th position at State Level.

Demonstrating and appealing for ‘Global Unity and Harmony’, children of The Junior Study School, Ambavgarh showcased outstanding performances in the Annual Day Function that was held on Sunday 17th March at Shilpgram’s Darpan auditorium.

With the theme ‘One World – One Heart’ students spread the message of love and unity through their frivolous ways, lifting high the spirits of a large crowd of audience, including parents and guests.

MMVM conducts Night Camp

Maharana Mewar Vidhya Mandir school administration conducted a unique activity to relieve students from examination anxiety. They conducted a night camp in the school premises on the night of 13th March for the 5th class students just a day after the exams.

At the camp, students watched movie, played some sports and had delicious food. In the night, camp fire and fashion show were organized in which Prince and Princes MMVM were selected.

On Thursday morning, students went for tracking and enjoyed candid moments with their school friends and teachers.

Annual Day and Convocation Ceremony at DPS Udaipur

Delhi Public School, Udaipur organized the Annual Day of classes I, II and III and the Convocation Ceremony for the young graduates of Prep on the evening of the 14th March 2013 at the school premises in the presence of Vikas Bhale, Collector Udaipur as the Chief Guest.

The event started by invoking the blessings of the almighty and a Ganesh Vandana. The event proceeded with a word of welcome by the Director, DPS Udaipur Nikki Agrawal and then came on stage the young graduates with their degree caps.

St Anthony’s students triumph at Drawing Competition

7 students of St Anthony’s School achieved various positions in a City-level drawing competition in which 4700 students from 17 schools participated.

In the Junior Group (Class I – Class V), Lubna Sheikh secured third position. In the Middle Group (Class VI – Class VIII), achieved second position while in Senior Group (Class IX – Class XII), Jay Kumar, Harshil Khedpiya and Pranjal Jain secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

Other than these, school’s Art Teacher Snehlata Chauhan was awarded the Best Teacher honor.

School Principal, William D’souza congratulated the students and the teacher.

Jugalbandi by a master musician and orchestra by young geniuses engulf the audience

On the eve of 32nd Annual Award Ceremony of Maharana Mewar Foundation, an Indian Classical music and orchestra function was organized in City Palace premises.

In the function, child prodigies from MMPS created a mesmerizing environment by their music. Kids played various Indian and Western instruments and presented Antonio Vivaldi’s creation ‘Spring’. [Read more...]

‘Chetna-2013′ at Wisdom Home School

The Annual event, “Chetna -2013”, was organized today by Wisdom Home Senior Secondary School. The Chief Guests at the event were Trilok Purbia and Parmeshwar Shrimali.

In the program Dr. Vatsalya Padliya welcomed the guests and spoke on how co-curricular activities are important for the overall development of the children. Thereafter, students presented many colorful cultural performances.

Trilok Purbia also addressed the audience and handed awards to the outstanding students in the field of academics and other co-curricular activities during the whole year.

In the end, Principal Rukshi Sheikh thanked all the guests and audience.

Vidya Bhawan Students Celebrate Science Day

British Teachers visit Junior Study, impressed with students’ handwritings

In the series of Teachers Exchange Program, a group of British teachers participated in teaching and other activities at The Junior Study School. Teachers from Gors Community School, Swansea Wales UK were in the school for a week and explored, shared and involved in various learning activities.

Teachers – Keith Atkins, Marion Jones, Ann Chapman and Kelvin Broad – shared their thoughts with students on global and local issues, environment and sciences. [Read more...]
