Police had arrested five people in relation to the mob charging incident in Bohra Ganeshji two days ago.

Of the arrested, two are sons of an ex Counsellor of the area, and the arrest has led to a two day Police remand for the brothers.

The other three who have been arrested by the Police, have been sent into Judicial Custody. Pratapnagar CI, Hanumant Singh said that the remaining arrests are pending interrogation of the two brothers who have been taken into remand.

Policemen were mobbed by around 30 people, when the team went to investigate a complaint lodged by one Kuldeep Jain in relation to a land dispute. The mob also attempted to snatch the revolver of the CI Hanuwant Singh, who managed to hang on to the firearm.

The two sent to Police remand are Sushil and Rajkumar Jain, whereas RTO resident Arvind Chundawat, Sunderwas residents Ashish Kumar and Lalit Teli have been sent to jail.
