The National Blood Donation Program was today organized by HDFC Bank, as a part of which the event in Udaipur was organized at different locations including the Durga Nursery branch, Chetak Circle Branch and Celebration Mall.
In total, 17 camps in the Udaipur cluster including Udaipur, Rajsamand, Abu Road, Dungarpur, Sumerpur and Banswara branches along with the help of various social groups, colleges and schools was organized today in this spree.
The camps got a warm response by the people including the students of RCA College, Vidhya Bhawan Polytechnic, SMCC Govt. College and BVM College. Many Clubs and associations including Narega Karmik Sangh, Bohra Youth, Rotary International, Mahaveer International and Jain Samaj also contributed in the camp.
A total of 1298 units of blood were collected in this program from the entire Udaipur cluster. Medical institutions including RNT Blood Bank, Udaipur; Global Hospital, Abu Road; Haridev Joshi Hospital, Dungarpur; RK Hospital, Rajsamand; MGH Hospital, Banswara and Saral Blood Bank also assisted in this program.
Certificates of appreciation, along with gifts were awarded to the Blood donors in the Camp. HDFC bank also thanked everyone to have come and supported this cause.
HDFC Bank officials including Anil Vyas, Alok Shukla, Abhinav Jain, Ehsaan Dabeer, Kamlesh Preetmani, Govind Saini, Prasoon Shah, Chirag Porwal and Rakesh were present in the whole program to ensure its successful execution.
