Family disputes became the dark side of life for 2 young girls. These girls were molested only because one of the families had mortgaged their land for money to one party and the other family had refused their daughter’s hand in marriage.

A woman reported in Jawar Mines police station that her neighbour molested her 17 year old daughter. She informed police that her family had taken money from the neighbour by mortgaging their 2 acre land for 5 years. Even after the passage of 9 years, the neighbour did not release their land and started insisting on the fact that the land was mortgaged for 20 years and not 5. When the family tried to talk to him on this issue, he started threatening them and one day he went to the extent of molesting her daughter. Police has arrested this culprit.

In another case of family dispute, a 17 year old girl filed a complaint with Parsad police. As per the complaint, she was in Parsad for a wedding. Manish Meena kidnapped her from the wedding venue and took her to a nearby forest area and raped her. Police investigations revealed that he was pressurising the girl’s family for marriage. Refusal from the girl’s family created dispute among the 2 families following which Manish Meena kidnapped her and molested her. Manish is now absconding.
