Graph of vehicle theft is going higher and higher. Thieves targetted 4-wheelers once again the city. In the last 2 days, one Bolero was stolen on Wednesday evening while valuables were stolen from 2 other cars on Tuesday.

Thieves took away valuables lying inside a car from Ambamata area. As reported by Jaipur resident Rohit, he is working on an online project in Udaipur. On Tuesday he parked his car outside Kanhaiya Vatika in Ambamata. When he returned to the car after some time and opened the boot of his car, he discovered that his laptop, wallet and some other stuff was gone.

Another incident occurred in Court Circle area. Nishar who is a resident of Rajsamand reported to Bhupalpura police that he was in Udaipur for some court related work. He had parked his car outside the Department of Mines. When he returned to his car around 4 p.m. he found that his documents, bag of clothes and many other things were missing from the back seat.

In the 3rd incident, Pankaj Sharma reported that his Bolero was parked outside Royal Motors on Wednesday evening and when he returned to the parking area, his Bolero was missing. Police was informed and all the CCTV footages of the area were checked for clues.

In all these thefts, the CCTV footages reveal that there are 3 youths around 20-21 years of age and the modus operandi is the same. They did not break the glasses or locks of any of these cars. There is a probability that only one gang is involved in these thefts and they have used a master key to open the locks of the car. Police is now searching for this car-theft racket.
