Municipal Corporation seized a 5 storeyed commercial building at Naga Nagri alongside Lake Pichola. This building was illegally built after ignoring the notices sent by Municipal Corporation.

Despite the fact that High Court has issued strict directives for not constructing commercial premises alongside lakes, people are still doing illegal construction. The building that was seized on Tuesday was punctured even earlier by anti-encroachment teams but the builders covered the punctured areas so well that no one could notice it. Babu Khan was warned 3 times and notified for this building but he ignored all and carried on with the construction and constructed 5 floors. Municipal Corporation punctured the roof in January 2019 for the 3^rd time. Khan had started commercial activities without taking permission from administration.
