Eight ancient statues from City Palace Museum are presently set on display at an International Monument Exhibition going on in Pinacotheque Museum, Paris, France. The exhibition is displaying 500 statues from 15 nations.

Eight ancient statues from City Palace Museum are presently set on display at an International Monument Exhibition going on in Pinacotheque Museum, Paris, France. The exhibition is displaying 500 statues from 15 nations.

All eight sculptures of City Palace Museum were selected by National Museum, New Delhi for the international exhibition.

Shreeji Arvind Singh Mewar, Managing Trustee of Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation and an avid art enthusiast also went to Paris to attend the exhibition.

Bhupendra Singh Ahuwa, Chief Managing officer of Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation informed, “The sculptures from City Palace include Nayika, Laxmi, Devangana, Sura Sundari, Bhairav and Yam (1100-1200), Sur Sundari (1000-1100) and Man & Woman (1300-1400). The exhibition started on 2nd October and will continue till 11th January 2015.”
