The art camp Art Residency hosted by WZCC came to an end. In the closing ceremony of the camp, various sculptors expressed their connection and their love for stone.

Feelings of sculptors were well understood when they expressed that they fall in love with a piece of lifeless stone after it is sculpted. Their work of art becomes too much of a family member and it does not remain a mere piece of stone. The artists mentioned that after they give life to the stone, it becomes their family member in the sense that it becomes full of life; a piece of stone which is so lifeless is turned into a piece of art depicting a feeling of belongingness.

The sculptors were speaking about the stone art work which was designed based on yoga. They also said that WZCC is taking innovative steps and their step towards stone art is commendable. President of Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academy Ashwin Dalvi said that it is interesting to watch yoga in stone art. He also added that the academy will soon organise an art camp for the youth. Dalvi also said that WZCC has been ranked as the best centre for art by a high level committee in Delhi.

WZCC head Furqan Khan said that the centre is continuously making efforts towards developing and promoting art. Among the dignitaries present in the art camp were Dr. Shail Choyal, Mahendra Kadia, Suresh Sharma and LL Sharma.
