Auto Union has appealed all the school auto drivers to cover the sides of their autos with mesh. The step has been taken after strict rules issued by Transport Department. The auto drivers have been given a time period of 10 days to install mesh in their autos. Also, the school autos are not supposed to overload the auto with children and if found overloaded and without mesh, action will be taken against them. Transport Director Vipin Maheshwari had held a meeting with the school auto operators earlier in which they were directed to follow the safety rules strictly. Further ahead, if any of the rules are broken by the operators, administration would take strict action against them.
