A sister got the best rakhi gift ever which she will never ever forget. It so happened that a 6 year old girl was at Fatehsagar with her brother and father. The father Kamlesh Purbia took his 2 kids to the lake for a swimming session on Sunday. He made them wear life jackets and left them to swim on their own.

Honey (6) was with her brother Krishna (12) in the lake. Both were trying to swim while their father watched from a distance. The brother-sister duo somehow moved away from each other. The little girl suddenly started drowning and shouted for help. Since her father was at quite a distance, he called out to the public for help. No one made an effort to save the girl from drowning. Krishna showed presence of mind and threw the life jacket at her and saved her life. It was sheer negligence on the father’s part to have left the 2 kids in water all by themselves.

The gift of life has become the best raksha-bandhan gift for this little sister.
