This is an update on our news a week back Man takes loan from bank – Robbed on way back home. Out of the 3 men who robbed a man on his way back home from bank, 2 have been arrested from Surat.

Bhanwar Singh Jhala of Kotdi had taken loan of 2 lakh rupees on gold from ICICI bank and was robbed on his way back home by 3 men on car’s back seat. While he got off the car’s back seat to get to the front, the car driver sped off making the man realise a moment later that his money was missing.

A week later, 2 of the culprits have been arrested based on the CCTV footage. Police is still searching for the others involved in this case. Rajnagar police arrested these 2 robbers and will present them before the court on Wednesday. Police investigated all the CCTV footage at toll plazas and spotted the car. A team headed to Surat following details of the car’s registration number. Car driver Shoeb Shaikh(22) s/o Salim Shaikh resident of Bhainsthanawas C112-9 ,Surat and Shaikh Mohsin Hussain s/o Hussain Shaikh resident of Pandesra Hall C 81-6  were arrested. Both the culprits will be presented before the court and will be on remand.

Police team consisting of Rajnagar SHO Ram Sumer Meena, ASI Goverdhan Singh, Mukesh, Shiv Singh, Puran Singh and Mahendra Singh worked together on this search operation.
