A man in Bhinder tehsil of Udaipur district made a gesture on Eid-ul-Adha that got everyone to stand-up and applaud. Instead of sacrificing a goat on Eid-ul-Adha, the man donated Rs 21000 for flood relief in the region.

Salim, a resident of Bhinder, Udaipur had saved every month over the last one year for goat sacrifice on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. He managed to save upto Rs 21000 for the sacrifice. However, closer to the date, he had a change of heart and he decided to support the people who were displaced during recent floods in the nearby region with that money.

When the entire area was celebrating Eid, Salim walked upto Police Station Bhinder and handed over the cheque to station officer. All his family members and friends were very proud of his gesture and congratulated him.
