A woman, hailing from Udaipur, has lodged a complaint against her husband for mocking her over her skin colour and dressing sense during their honeymoon in Kerala.

The woman had completed her Ph.D. from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. She alleged in her complaint that her husband suffers from psychological disorder and had left her stranded shortly after marriage before demanding a divorce.

In the complaint filed with Dwarka Police Station, Delhi, the lady claimed that her husband assualted her and even made her sleep on sofa in hotel reception during their honeymoon in Kerala.

She alleged that her in-laws her barred her from entering the house and were putting pressure on her to settle for divorce.

The lady is currently being counselled by Crime Against Women (CAW) wing and investigation has started in the case.
