A 12 year old child has been rescued and the agent has been arrested by Ogna police. The child was being taken to Gujarat as labour and villagers from Nai area informed police about the incident. The child has been handed over to Child Welfare Committee.

After talking to the child, the CWC informed police that this 12 year old was being taken to work in Surat in some saree shop. The child also said that he has worked in this saree shop some months back and was being taken there again. Police arrested the agent when he was about to leave with the child in a bus at Jhadol bus stand. Directives have been issued to keep the child in open shelter home in Ogna for the time being.
