A female computer operator in District Education Office (DEO) has been arrested red-handed by ACB while taking bribe in the office premises. The computer operator Sarita Tripathi had demanded 5000 rupees for passing RTE bill of a private school.

Anti Corruption Bureau was informed by the director of a private school in Kherwara that the female computer operator was not passing the Right to education bill for the children of the rural area. She was approached a number of times but she kept the bill at hold for a long time. Finally she asked for 5000 rupees and when the amount was refused, she threatened the director that if the amount is not given to her she would have the school’s affiliation rejected. After verification of the complaint, ACB laid a trap and arrested her taking 5000 rupees.
