Urine of high breed cows like Gir and Tharparkar fetches around Rs 15-Rs 30 per litre in comparison to their milk that fetches around Rs 22 – Rs 25 per litre.

Besides organic farming cow urine is also used for rituals and medicinal purposes. One such cow farmer, Kailash Gujjar from Jaipur says that he stays awake as night so that cow urne does not fall on ground. He says that his income has grown by 30% as a result of this and he is just one of the many people who have ventured into the space of selling cow urine.
