As part of his “Spirit of India” run from Kanyakumari to Srinagar, former Australian MP, Pat Farmer reached Udaipur on Sunday, 28-Feb and left for Rajsamand today on 29-Feb.
Pat is known for finishing a “Pole to Pole” run from North Pole to South Pole and raising 100,000 Australian dollars for Red Cross.
Purpose of this run is to promote Indo-Australian relationship, raise money for education of girl child and to promote the real side of India to Australians.
The 4,600 km run started on 26-Jan from Kanyakumari and Pat expects to reach Srinagar by 30th March. He stayed in Shikarbadi yesterday in his stop over at Udaipur.
