Sudden inspection by the Mayor brought forward the reality of Municipal Corporation’s garage. The garage at Ashok Nagar was full of garbage, tobacco pouches were found inside cooler bodies and there was filth and stench everywhere. It was also observed that the staff who is supposed to be in uniform was moving around in casual wear. Irregularities were found in garage and fire station, both.

Scrap was lying scattered around in the fire station. Toilets were filthy and blocked with plastic. Drains were packed with dirt and plastic bags. Overall the situation was too nauseating. Action will be taken against all these irregularities.
