Wanted accused in several serious offences, Vinod Gujjar, alias Vinod Bakri’s dead body was cremated by police as an anonymous man found dead at Kheroda Highway on 5^th April. After eight days, mother of Vinod confirmed his death by seeing the photographs.

Vinod’s body was kept at MB Hospital’s mortuary till 9^th April, but when nobody identified him to take the custody, the body was cremated by a local NGO.

Later, a sudden rumor of Vinod Bakri’s murder alarmed the police, who doubted that the cremated unknown man might be Vinod Bakri. Immediately his mother was called to identify the photograph that was captured before performing last rites.

On 13^th April, Vinod’s mother confirmed the photograph is of her son.

Vinod Bakri’s mysterious death has shaken the crime world of Lakecity, as Bakri used to hold significant position in several petty gangs and known as one of the dreadful criminals.

He was a history-sheeter at Hiran Magri Police Station, several cases of loot, assault and murder were charged against him.
