A woman committed suicide in Kotdi which falls under Delwara police station. Reportedly the husband was having an extra marital affair which grieved the woman and she ended her life. Prem Kunwar w/o Mahendra Singh was extremely troubled by the fact that her husband was having extra marital affair. She left a suicide note mentioning the same.

As per the suicide note, husband Mahendra was having an extra marital affair and the woman he was involved with has been accused by Prem Kunwar of spoiling her married life. She also begged forgiveness from her 2 children stating that she was sorry as she had no choice left but suicide. On Monday night she consumed poison after which she was rushed to a private hospital but referred to MB Hospital, Udaipur. The medical team at MB Hospital declared her dead after a short while.

The woman also stated that her maternal uncle had come to her rescue but this woman with whom her husband was having an affair accused her uncle of molestation. She said that the maternal uncle did no such thing and should not be falsely blamed for anything at all. She was in depression for a long time as the situations were getting worse and hence consumed poison.

Family members and other community members gathered outside the mortuary and demanded that the alleged woman and the husband be arrested at the earliest.
