Income tax department raided a jewellery showroom on Tuesday. As per reports, a jeweller was in for a sudden shock when income tax department arrived to raid the jewellery showroom.

 Employees of jewellery showroom at Hospital road were taken aback when they realised that a team from income tax department was in for a sudden check. Income tax officers interrogated the employees in a casual manner. After the employees left for the day, the department began with other investigations.

Until late night, team from income tax department checked all the documents in the showroom and even verified physical stock. More details are yet to arrive on this raid.
