Jewellery and cash worth lakhs stolen from Hiranmagri

A house in Manva Kheda area of Hiranmgri was burgled and jewellery and cash worth lakhs were taken away. Retired as School Principal, Harish Verma, was away to Mount Abu with his son and family. His son had recently returned from the United States and the family decided to visit Pavapuri and Mount Abu.

One of the neighbours informed Harish Verma that a burglary had taken place at his house. When the family returned they found that every room of the house was ransacked. Almirahs were broken down and gold and silver jewellery were taken away along with 50,000 rupees in cash. Harish also said that the burglars were gutkha eaters and they spat in every room. He said that the main entry lock was not broken. There is house under construction in the neighbourhood and the burglars broke the lock of the entrance which faces the under-construction house. The way the house was searched for and ransacked, it is being estimated that there were around 5 to 7 people performing the act.
