City railway station will have the first of its kind laundry machine in Ajmer division inaugurated today. The laundry machine has come at a cost of Rs 2.5 Crores.

Puneet Chawla, DRM, Railways reached Udaipur today morning via Khajurao Express. He will carry out the inspection of station and will also inaugurate the laundry machine.

While the laundry machine will be inaugurated today, it will start functioning only from December. The hi-tech laundry was announed in 2016-17 budget.

The machine is equipped with latest high quality equipment and will be used for washing linens of trains leaving Udaipur
