A man got cheated in the name of loan, report of which has been registered in Ambamata police station. Pushkar Gameti reported that he got a call from someone who claimed to be working in a finance company. The caller said that he was an agent and could help Pushkar with loan. Pushkar was told that a loan of 50,000 rupees could be provided to him. When Pushkar told him that he needed around 1.50 lakh rupees as loan, the caller agreed and gave him the details of loan process. As per the process, he was asked to pay 24,000 rupees against GST, file charges and other processing charges. All the charges were paid online via 3 different transactions after which the call got disconnected. Pushkar then realised that he was duped in the name of loan and that the caller was merely a fraudster.
